日本求购咖啡豆(Coffee beans research)
Dear
I am a consultant working for our company, a market research consulting company based in Tokyo. our company has been hired by All Japan Coffee Association (AJCA) to conduct a worldwide study on agrochemical (fungicide, insecticide, herbicide and post-harvest/storage chemicals) usage in coffee.
The study has been commissioned by AJCA, prior to its incorporation of stricter minimum-residue-limits (MRLs) on all coffee imports into Japan, to take effect in April 2006.
China is gradually becoming a more important source for coffee imported into Japan. With this in mind, we would appreciate the opportunity to interview coffee producers, suppliers, associations, trading companies such as yourself for information on planted area, production (background statistics), the various agronomic pressure coffee growers face and the measures (including chemical ones) they are taking to resolve these problems.
My colleague, Cherry Chang (fluent in Chinese Mandarin) and I are hoping to conduct some interviews from July 17th to July 19th in Kunming. We would appreciate you sparing some time to meet and talk with us. We believe this is a very important project, for China抯 future coffee production and export business. Thus, we would really appreciate your help in this matter.
If you could so kindly reply to my email and provide us with your phone number and details, we would then get in touch with you. Alternatively, Ms Chang and myself are staying at the Harbour Plaza Hotel in Kunming and their phone
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Jake Cooley
