Cost reduction by finding an off-the-shelf 16-port fast Ethernet switch (not a gigabit switch). Switch should be SIMILAR to a 16-port switch made by Netgear.

The switches should be no bigger than 3' by 8' by 1'. Strongly prefer to have automatic power switching of 100-220V.

Target Price:
Lowest bidder on the solution wins the bid; Pricing and cost-effectiveness are the key considerations.

Quantity:
First time try-out at 100-1000 pieces to start.
