On behalf of Institute of Mechanics Lomonosov Moscow State University I would like to invite you in our project "Biomechatronics" under direction of rector Viktor Antonovich Sadovnichy. Main goal is to create artificial finger for laparoscopic telesurgery using existing achievements in microelectronics. Our laboratory already designed a discrete tactile sensor for palpation of a cancer. But the level of technologies in Taiwan Park is extremely high, so I believe you have already tactile sensors and displays (MEMS or CMOS) in Taiwan in develop or rather in mass production. Therefore, could you help us to find and buy existing tactile sensors or, if not applicable, develop them with help of Design Centers in Taiwan? If samples of tactile sensors and displays would be convenient for us, we need thousands of them in order to make assembly in laparoscope (medical instrument for invasive surgery) and sell them to hospitals in Russia.
