- Condenser tubes.
Specifications : The condenser is salt water cooled, two pass, divided waterbox surface condenser, with an integral full flow circulating water reversal system. The condenser has a total of 8,208, 1.0" OD, 18 gauge, aluminium brass (ASTM
B111 C68700), main conden-sing tubes. The overall tube length is 35' 2 3/8".
- Sootblowers. They use steam for sootblower media in all their boilers. They use sootblowers in 3 locations :
(a) Wall blowers - furnace walls to remove slag/ash
(b) Retractable blowers - convection pass, super-heater, re-heater, econo-
mizer.
(c) Fixed swing sootblower or rotary with multiple nozzles - Lungstrom rotary air heaters.
