One fine day in the 1990s, the desert dwellers of Al Khawaneej Oasis on the outskirts of Dubai woke up to the sounds of lowing cows. Five hundred Friesian Holstein cows flown in from Holland were getting accustomed to their new temperature controlled home at Al Rawabi Dairy.

Over the course of a decade the company has grown immensely, and is today the leading producer of milk products in Dubai.
