E-5 SOLID LUBRICANT
(MoS2 Powder)
This product meets all the requirements of Military Specification MIL-M-7866C titled
Molybdenum Disulfide, Technical, Lubrication Grade, with the exception that it is specially
processed to 1-3 microns particle size. The product is a special grade of powdered MoS2
that is to be used for the lubrication of surfaces where boundary lubrication conditions
exist.

Testing Requirements
Steel and copper corrosion. When tested as specified in Paragraph 4.4.7 of
MIL-M-7866C, the E-5 Powder causes no pitting, etching, or heavy stain on polished
copper and sandblasted steel surfaces.
When tested per the subject specification, Paragraph 4.4.8, the average particle size of
E-5 lubricating powder is 1-3 microns.
This product is packaged in 1 and 10 lb. cans.
