Graphite yarn is constructed from Pure Expanded Flexible Mineral Graphite Tape which is twisted and treated with inhibitors and a blocking agent. The yarn is compositely twisted with threads of pure cotton fiber, or inorganic fiber and or metallic wires. It is widely used in the manufacturing of gland braided packings, braided sleeves or tubings, woven cloths and woven tapes.
