Metal jacketed gaskets are composed of soft asbestos millboard, flexible garphite, ceramic fibre and PTFE with external jacket of metal sheets. They are widely used on sealig covers of pressure vessels, heat exchanges, condensers, towers and groovers and on cylinder covers of compression engines and internal combustion engines.
These metal jacketed gaskets can be made upon request. Minimum inside diameter is Φ5000mm. Various shapes are shown in the diagrams.
Proper medium, pressure and temperature are decided by different materials we use. The highest temperature is 1000centigrade and the highest pressure is 6.4Mpa.
