The property of melt flow has been studied by the melt
indexer and the torque rheometer. The results showed that the MFR
of blend decreased when content of K-MAH increased in the blend,
the reason was that the molecular weight became larger because
K-MAH reacted with PA6. In the scope of my study, with the
increasing of time, the torque of PA6/K-MAH blend did not
descend but increase a little, however, the torque of pure PA6
decreased a little. It may have two factors, on the one hand, some
of PA6 degraded, the torque should descend, on the other hand, part
of K-MAH with PA6 kept on reacting, the torque should increase.
